A lot of people out there especially ladies see marriage as a fairy tale which compresses of a lot of rainbows and glitters not being thought of the challenges that one has to across at time in their marital homes. I think I would have to blame the parents especially mother’s for not impacting some marital knowledge on their daughters.

Here are some few tips about what marriage is all about;

1. It’s working hard on both ends to make sure that each person is receiving their full rights.

 

2. It’s having to pick your battles and decide – is this really worth arguing about?

3. Marriage is hard work. If both sides don’t put in equal effort, the imbalance itself can destroy a marriage.

4.Yes, it’s nice having a supportive #companion for the rest of your life (in shaa Allaah). Yes it’s nice that you get to create and share a #beautiful life together. But it does not come easy.

5. Marriage teaches you so much about yourself; things you didn’t really want to know.

6.You will wish one day ‘I was more mentally prepared for it’. And You will notice after a few years and 2 kids later. There is still so much to learn and so much to get used to.
